Your Purpose is Hidden in Your Passion

I bet no one has ever told you that your purpose is hidden in your passion.

Say what?…. Yes, you heard thet right!

YOUR PURPOSE IS HIDDEN IN YOUR PASSION!

I want you to let that sink in for a moment…. And while you meditate on that, I don’t want you to feel bad, no one ever told me that either.

In fact, it was many years of fumbling around in darkness, all the while not knowing I had “IT” already in me.

Until one day, almost some 30 years now, I was asked by my beloved pastor and mentor, who’s now gone home to rest the following question…

What are you most passionate about B, that you can’t live without doing?

That was a question that would set my life on a journey of discovering my purpose that I would not stop until I had an answer too.

Do you have something burning within you so strong you just can’t seem to shake it?

When you go to bed, it’s there. When you wake up it’s still there. It’s always on your mind.

If so, keep reading and listening, before you make a decision you will regret, so you avoid giving up on that felling (passion), which fuels your dream to keep pursuing your life purpose.

Following these 3 non-negotiable steps to bulletproofing your purpose mission…

Surround Yourself With People That Believe In You

Had I not had my wife, pastors, coaches, mentors, educators and close friends who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, I would have given up on my dreams of maximizing my purpose when things got tough.

And I promise you, things will get tough.

There will be days when you feel like “what’s the use” and want to quit.

There will be days when you can’t stand the uncertainty of not knowing any longer, and you’ll consider tucking your tail to go back to something that’s easy, yet unfulfilling.

But when you have people in your corner who believe in you, you will find the courage to continue, and your life will be transformed as a result.

Focus In Instead Of Focusing Out

I know we’re often taught that to look out for ourselves is selfish. In the beginning of your journey to uncover purpose, you won’t feel confident in your thoughts or your feelings.

To wait for you to feel more confident before beginning is a disservice to yourself and others because you will be waiting your entire life, much like you have been.

The key is knowing confidence is a result, not a requirement.

In other words, it’s a result from taking action and helping yourself. Helping yourself be free enough to follow your heart to what you already know inside.

So focus in to do the deep dive work required to discover what’s already in you and has always been. Instead of waiting to feel more confident or worthy.

Why? Because you have something in you that only you are meant to do. People need what you have to offer right now and they can’t afford to wait for you to feel more confident.

Focus On The Next Step… Not The Final SteP

Too often people want to know all the steps to get to the destination, before taking the journey. What’s the fun or joy in that? The mind can make you believe you need to know it all before trying anything.

The two most important character traits that are needed are courage and ignorance.

Courage so that you take action in the face of uncertainty and doubt.

And ignorance so that you don’t recognize how challenging your path will be.

Because if you did, then you would give up. And in times past, your mind wanted to know it all, so you imagined the steps and process, so it as too difficult and you quit trying.

So instead of focusing on the end in mind, just focus on taking the next step in your journey of discovery.

Maybe it’s downloading one of my free resources, or taking the transformation journey, or scheduling that call with me for a brief chat.

Just focus on taking that next step and you will be astonished at how fear and uncertainty fade and how far you progress.

I’ve gone on long enough, so that’s it from me for now.

Take good care. I’ll talk to you soon.
